Reed Software Group ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use CutListPro ("the App"). Please read this policy carefully.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

The App allows you to enter job data such as material dimensions, cut lists, and pricing information. This data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly enable cloud sync features (currently not available). We do not have access to your job data.

Automatically Collected Information

We do not operate our own analytics or crash-reporting infrastructure. The App does not collect or transmit usage statistics, device identifiers, or behavioral data to Reed Software Group servers.

Purchase Information

If you purchase a Pro subscription or lifetime license, payment is processed entirely through the Apple App Store. We receive only a notification of purchase status (free or pro) via RevenueCat — we do not receive your payment card details, billing address, or Apple ID credentials.

2. How We Use Information

Because CutListPro is a primarily offline app, information entered into the App stays on your device. We use your device's local storage solely to:

Save your cut jobs and Wood Bank between sessions
Remember your app preferences and settings
Verify your Pro subscription status

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond providing App functionality.

3. Third-Party Services

Apple App Store

App downloads and in-app purchases are processed by Apple. Apple's Privacy Policy governs the information Apple collects in connection with your use of the App Store.

RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions and verify purchase status. RevenueCat may collect certain device and purchase information as described in their Privacy Policy. RevenueCat does not receive your job data or personal information beyond what is necessary to verify subscription status.

4. Data Storage & Security

All job data, preferences, and settings are stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage. We implement reasonable technical measures to protect locally stored data. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you delete the App, all locally stored data is removed from your device. If you use iCloud Backup, your device backups may include App data in accordance with Apple's backup policies.

5. Data Sharing & Sale

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We do not share your data with third parties except as required by law or as necessary to provide App functionality through the third-party services described above.

6. Children's Privacy

CutListPro is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at support@reedsoftwaregroup.com.

7. Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You can delete individual jobs within the App or clear all data via Settings → Data → Clear All Data. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data.

For questions about data that third-party services (Apple, RevenueCat) may hold, please refer to their respective privacy policies and contact those services directly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above and, where feasible, by in-app notification. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
